* Contact the Department of Public Works
to purchase a bin or you may use an alternate
container, 40 gallons or less, as a curbside recycling bin.
Stickers can be picked up at the 301, Mechanicsville and Elmont
Convenience Centers, Department
of Public Works
office, 301 Transfer Station or
mailed to you from CVWMA to identify the container for recycling
upon request.

- Municipal Solid Waste Collection Site
Please note that starting
7/1/2010 Hanover Convenience Centers will be
closed on Wednesdays as well as the following
holidays: July 4, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day,
Lee- Jackson Day, MLK Day, and
Memorial Day.
Beaverdam Solid Waste Convenience Center

Beginning 7/1/2010 center will be closed every Wednesday. In
addition, center will be closed for all county
holidays.

Site features a drop-off recycling center for cans, bottles,
paper, etc.
Other items collected include: tires, appliances,
propane tanks, cell phones, textiles, oil, antifreeze, oil filters,
paints and other materials, rechargeable batteries, lead acid
batteries. Lawnmowers can be recycled, please drain fluids.
Doswell Solid Waste Convenience Center

paper, etc.
Items collected include: tires, appliances, propane

U.S. Rt. 301 Solid Waste Transfer Station
