The CVWMA's
curbside recycling program, the largest in the state of Virginia,
serves over 260,000 households
in eight jurisdictions. Nearly 120 tons
of recyclables are collected each day of curbside recycling
service. More than 34,000 tons of
recycable materials are diverted from Virginia landfills annually
as a result of curbside recycling in central
Virginia.
