Adopt a Street or a Spot
The Richmond
Clean City Commission's Adopt-a-Spot/Street Program wants you to
help clean up Richmond. Individuals, organizations, or businesses
"adopt" a street, intersection, lot, park, - most anywhere - and
agree to keep the area cleared of litter for at least two years.

nominate a business and a home for the annual Keep Henrico
Beautiful awards sponsored by the Keep Henrico Beautiful Committee.
The committee is looking for businesses and homes that recycle,

Area?
The Charles City Planning and Zoning
office has litter bags, gloves and other supplies for any one
wishing to have a neighborhood cleanup. The office can also arrange
to hvae any rubbish you pick up to be disposed of. Call

cleanup during the
month of April and take your unwanted
tires, household hazardous waste, TVs, computers and other unwanted
electronics to the Charles City County landfill on Chambers
Road.
