The pictures below illustrate a typical day of collecting and processing your recyclables.   Items collected in the curbside and drop-off recycling programs are taken to a facility in Chester, Virginia where the mixed items will be separated, baled, loaded onto trucks, sold around the world and made into new products for us to purchase.
