In October, it pays to recycle more so that ever! CVWMA will be rewarding curbside recyclers with CASH, just for setting out their recycling bins. You could win one of the 20 daily prizes of $100 or the $250 grand prize. Residents of homes eligible for curbside recycling service include the City of Richmond, Chesterfield County, Colonial Heights, Goochland County (portions), Hanover County (Milestone and Ashcreek subdivisions only), Henrico County and the Town of Ashland.
Entries will be accepted from September 1 through September 30. One entry per household. One entry will be selected each collection day between October 6 and October 31. CVWMA staff will visit the homes of the selected entrants to look for their properly prepared bin. Recyclables must be at the curb ready for collection by 7:00 am and must include only accepted items. Each daily winner will receive $100. A grand prize winner will be selected from a drawing of all daily winners. All winners will be announced on or before America Recycles Day, Saturday, November 15. Winner's names may be included in promotional materials, but addresses will be kept confidential.
