Curbside Recycling

            several options to its residents that want to recycle at the curb.

                 1.  Residents may use an alternate container (anything over 40 gallons must have steel bar for easy tipping).  

                      CVWMA can mail stickers to identify container for recycling.

                 2.  96- gallon recycling carts are available through an online purchase, $65 user fee.  Order a cart

                 3.  24- gallon recycling bins will be available for purchase online for $16 each.

  • Visit the Environmental Division Website to learn about other recycling
    opportunities that may be available to residents (Tires, Household Chemicals,
    Electronics, Paints, Automobile Fluids, Too Good to Waste and Yard Waste).

 

  • County Solid Waste Collection Sites

           Effective 7/1/2010  the two convenience centers for household refuse disposal and recycling will operate

           under new schedule and a new gate fee. (Click here for current info)

 

          Northern Area Convenience Center

          3200 Warbro Rd, Midlothian

          Site features a drop-off recycling center for cans, bottles, paper, etc.

          Other items collected include:  appliances, propane tanks, cell phones, oil, antifreeze, oil filters, paints and

          other materials, rechargeable and lead acid batteries, tires, textiles,

Southern Area Convenience Center

6700 Landfill Dr., Chester

Site features a drop-off recycling center for cans, bottles, paper, etc.

Other items collected include:  electronics, appliances, propane tanks, cell phones, oil, antifreeze, oil filters, paints and other materials, rechargeable and lead acid batteries, tires, textiles, scrap metal
