Petersburg
The City of Petersburg has scheduled a City Wide cleanup
on April 27th, 2013
for Sites 1, 2, & 3 (9:00am to 1:00pm). Citizens are asked
to bring trash and other debris to the drop- off location at each
site.
Site 1- A.P. Hill Elementary School on Talley
Ave.
Site 2- Pittman Annex parking lot on W. Wythe
St.
Site 3- School Board Administrative offices on
E. South
Boulevard
Items not being allowed for this clean- up or for dumping are:
Major Automotive Parts, Oils, Hazardous materials, Paints,
Fertilizers,Construction debris larger than a pickup truck,
Contractors waste materials, Anything hot, Tree trunks or Root
Ball, Equipment tires, and more than four Vehicle Tires per
citizen. This is not a street- to- street collection by the City.
If citizens would like to organize a neighborhood collection, a
neighborhood coordinator must be selected, and a pickup location
designated in advance, in conjunction with the Street Maintenance

Partners include Central Virginia Waste Management and Container
First Services. All citizens are asked to participate. For
