Every year, there are numerous
fairs and festivals coordinated by area organizations, businesses
and schools. In order to capture the recyclable beverage
cans and bottles generated at these events, CVWMA has partnered
with our residential recycling contractor Tidewater Fibre
Corporation (TFC) to offer event recycling.
Special collapsible
recycling containers (pictured at right) will be loaned to
interested groups to collect cans and bottles from single-day
events. Use of the containers and collection and
recycling of the collected materials are provided at no
charge, but a $100 refundable deposit check is
required to defray
the costs of replacing containers that are damaged or not
returned.
A limited number of
containers are available for loan and reservations will be made on
a first-come, first-served basis. Requests MUST
be received at least fourteen days prior to the
event, and four weeks advance request is
recommended.
The request form and deposit must
accompany requests. Click
here for the Request Form.
